Scissor-over-comb, clipper work, tapers and fades. Tell the barber how you like it — or sit down and let forty years of practice decide.

Broadway Commons · Hicksville, NY
A proper walk-in barbershop tucked inside Broadway Commons. Sharp fades, clean line-ups and hot towel shaves — no app, no membership, no fuss. Just sit down when it's your turn.
What we do
No menu of twenty add-ons. Just the classic barbershop services, done by people who have been doing them a long time.

Scissor-over-comb, clipper work, tapers and fades. Tell the barber how you like it — or sit down and let forty years of practice decide.

Lines cleaned up, length evened out, neck and cheeks squared off. Quick enough for a lunch break, sharp enough for a wedding.

Steamed towel, warm lather, straight razor, cool finish. The service that made barbershops worth walking into.

Razor line-ups between cuts, and first haircuts for the little ones. Patient with kids of any age — parents have been bringing them here for decades.

The shop
Plaza Barbers has been cutting hair inside the Hicksville mall since long before it was called Broadway Commons. Chairs get passed down, regulars bring their sons, and the sons bring theirs. Some customers have been sitting in the same chair for twenty years.
It is a barbershop in the traditional sense: clippers, shears, a straight razor and a hot towel. You're in and out in half an hour with a cut that looks the way you asked for it — and the conversation is free.
“I used to get my haircut in the city, for three times more, and it wasn't even as good as I get it done here.”
Seven days a week. No booking system to wrestle with — turn up and take a seat.
Ground floor of Broadway Commons, near the IKEA end. Park right outside the door.
First haircuts, wriggly toddlers, fussy teenagers. The barbers have seen all of it.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking, plus restrooms in the mall concourse.

“Best Barbershop in Long Island, the entire crew is very talented! Danny is DaVinci with the Scissors and the Buzzer, I've been going to him for nearly 20 years now, and he's always kept me looking fresh and feeling confident.”
“Have been going here for years! The price is great, the crew is extra nice, the overall experience is VERY good. I used to get my haircut in the city, for three times more, and it wasn't even as good as I get it done here!”
“Excellent barbers. I've tried so many since I moved here. I finally found men who can cut hair and listen to how I want it cut. Went there today and still a good place to get a haircut.”
“Many thanks to Barber Danny for my son's haircut! He is very patient and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him — he is very good with children of any age.”
